Happy Late Easter!

Yesterday was Easter so I was not able to get online because I was very busy with family! Working with 3 hours of sleep especially on a holiday is pretty hard! Luckily I made it through the whole day with naps in the car! First thing Easter morning I went for breakfast with my church family and then we had our Easter Service! I do have to say Easter is my favorite holiday! We do not normally have a lot of younger children in our church and when holidays come around it is filled with grandchildren! It is such a blessing to have your whole family with you on holidays. At lunch Shannon and I went to his parents where we ate and spent time with family. Since Shannon and I were already dressed up we decided to get some pictures taken by Anna. I uploaded the pictures that were on my camera earlier today so I thought I would share some of them!

Of course, I had to leave some off because I am not the most photogenic person.

Well I hope everyone had a great Easter! We sure had a great time spending our last holiday as an unmarried couple together! :)

Recap of The Past Two Week

Well, like I mentioned last night I have been absent for the past two weeks due to an abundance of school work! Since I have not posted in a while I will just do an overview of what all I have been up to!

Last week, Shannon's nephew had his senior night for baseball. I tried to take as many pictures as possible until my camera decided to run out of batteries. :( Nobody likes it when that happens! Here are just a few pictures that I was able to take before the batteries died...

They played two games that night and I know they won the first one, I am not sure about the second one! :( Maybe they won that one too!

Then I had a baby shower on Saturday for Crosby and little Anna Ryan! Of course I made her a wipe case and a blanket! I made the wipe case just like I did the first one that I made, same fabric and all and I made the blanket just like the MSU one that I made a couple weeks ago, except it is smaller.

This is the only picture I have of anything dealing with the shower, I forgot to take my camera... :( I have really been falling behind! Then of course on that Sunday I had my shower and from then on I have been at home working on all of my wonderful school work!

Thank goodness for Tuesday when I drop down to one class! I will be oh so happy!

Bridal Shower!!!

Last Sunday I had a wonderful bridal shower that was thrown by many friends, and by many I mean there are a lot of people to name! I received many things that I greatly appreciate and love every single thing!! I have not uploaded my pictures from my camera but I do have some from one of those before mentioned friends Ellane Gilmore! She is one of the main people who made this day possible!

Me and my grandmother have always been very close and for her to be there with me and my mom on this day was very special to me! My other grandmother was there as well but we did not get a picture together! We will have to next time! I actually cannot believe that I do not have one! Maybe it is on my camera!

Proudest moment of the day... My dress cost me $1.00!! :) I love this dress from Ann Taylor!

This is the cake! I would love to give credit to the lady that made the cake but I honestly do not remember! If anyone knows please inform me!

And lastly, one of my flower arrangements with zebra and pink! I love it! I could not have asked for anything to better describe myself!

Proud of Myself

After wanting to do something to help people in my area, I am proud to say that that opportunity might have just fallen in my lap today! I am excited about it but do not want to talk about it too soon so, just hope that it all works out! :)

I have been extremely busy with school this week and have not been able to get on here and be as active as I have wanted to be. Tomorrow looks like a good day for a break so I will probably post in the morning! Hope you all have a good night!

Stormy Friday!!

I have never been very pleased with bad weather and I think it is because I remember very well the first storm that we were in. That would be the first time my mom told us to get in the hallway. Every time after that that I have been in bad weather I have been alone. Nobody wants to be alone during a storm! I literally sit in the bed and stay online like my bed is going to protect me. Kind of wimpy I know but it makes me feel safe! I guess it would help if I did not feel the need to check the weather channel every five minutes to get the new update. :(

Arghhh.... Happy Birthday Cam!!

Last week was my youngest nephews birthday! He turned 4 and was extremely excited about having all of his family together... okay, so it was the presents that the family brought that made him happy. We can all dream a 4 year old would be this excited to see his family!

I know I could have cropped his face out of the picture but then I would cut my grandfather out and I would hate to do that!

The funniest part of his birthday party were the things that he would say! Like this picture for instance which was taken after he said, (with the biggest smile on his face) I have wanted this my WHOLE life!!

This gift was a "pirate sword" if you cannot tell. The party was Pirate themed!

One of my best photos of the day was of Layton (my oldest nephew) and Shannon! Of course, the picture would not be complete without a pirate hook!

Well I forgot about this picture... I guess it is a toss up for my favorite. This is my dad with Zoe putting an earring in his ear to make him a real pirate.

Tuesday, the first day of my wonderful week!!

The way my classes are set up I take one class a month which makes 5 classes in a semester. Since my month would have ran over onto our wedding day I am taking more than one class at a time starting today! I have stayed up super late tonight printing out my textbooks and doing my assignments for the next week! I did all I could Monday to get myself caught up in my other class so I would not fall behind! I really have a feeling that I have no idea what I have gotten myself into!!

Hopefully it goes well though because if it does I will be doubling up on my classes so I can finish sooner! I am excited that I get to start my field experience during this class and will be in the classroom! So exciting!

Since I will be very busy with school I hope I am able to find some time for myself.
